From Publishers Weekly
Niven's (Ringworld) impressive body of work is given a stunning showcase in this hefty volume, which includes short stories, novel excerpts, interviews, and even obscure nonfiction pieces. The short stories and novelettes explore hard science fiction with Niven's characteristic eye for detail and engaging voice. Set in a future where humans have the option of eternal childhood, "Boys and Girls Together" explores the meaning of adulthood and child-rearing. The elegant "Free Floaters" (written with Brenda Cooper) is a touching romance told against the backdrop of a sunless planet and the adventurous creatures that live there. Meanwhile, articles like "Wet Mars" blend the boundaries of fiction and fact by exploring the oft-speculated possibility of water on the red planet. This is an excellent primer for readers wanting to learn more about Niven's work, though novices might find themselves lost by the setting and technical language of the Ringworld excerpts and stories.

Catching Up
By D. J. Rout
Larry Niven's candour about his writing and his frequent references to his own work mean the fan and scholar have an easy and fun time reading his works and tracing them back to their sources and seeing how they all link together. The problem for readers outside the US is tracking down where these stories appear. So it's great when a collection like this comes along. The previous three, N-Space, ,Playrounds of the Mind and Scatterbrain offered a thorugh retrospective of Niven's writing career up to just before the publication of Ringworld's Children, his last solo novel, and Stars and Gods picks up the bibliography from there.

In and around the stories and excerpts from novels are little introductory pieces by Niven giving you the ral-life background or literary environment in which the piece belongs and sometimes these intros explain a point that might be a bit obscure in the text. Like most Niven they're worth pondering a bit and you get nice aphorims about the writing craft, too. Plus the introductions and afterwords are what's it all about--they're the written equivalent of a DVD commentary.

My personal highlight is "The Gatherers' Guild". Niven says this is his best conspiracy story, so if you like the idea that there are not-so-secret government agencies covertly running your life, buy this book.

. . .while you still can.

I am not going to apologize!
By Don From Indiana
For my love of Larry Niven's work. No, I am not, I can't really explain it, as it doesn't seem to mesh with the rest of my tastes when it comes to written fiction. The writing isn't in any way impressive, the characters... Okay I love Louis Wu and Beowulf Schaeffer, and Chmee, but past that? In the whole vast set of Larry's work I can barely name anyone else. But if you find that you like his work then get this thing, gobble it up and enjoy!

An unusual look at Larry Niven
By CGLJ
A set of stories by Larry Niven, some in his classic style, some in a bit different styles.
A good read if you like Hi-Tech Sci-Fi.

Twenty-six-year-old Gaby Barreto might be a lot of things (loyal, sarcastic, one of the guys, and a pain in the butt, depending on which family member you ask), but dumb isn't one of them. When her twin brother invites her to go on tour as his band's merch girl, she isn't exactly screaming at the top of her lungs with joy. But with no job opportunities pounding on her door, an ex-boyfriend she would still like to castrate, and no end in sight to moving out of her parents' house in Dallas, it would be dumb to say no to the chance of a lifetime.

Two bands, three continents, one tour. Spending the next 90-plus days with three beloved idiots and eight complete strangers shouldn't be a big deal, right? If only the singer of the headlining band didn't have tattoos, a great personality, and a fantastic body, and if he weren't so funny.... Let's be real: Gaby never had a chance against Sacha Malykhin.

Not her best work, by far
By LadyLoves2Read
I loved KULTI, the work showed maturity and a steadfast character in the heroine that truly carried the story thru her difficult journey as a professional soccer player in a relationship with her lifelong hero, a faded soccer star struggling to find his new path. Read it!

This story is New Adult, but ends up being a rather juvenile pastiche of bathroom humor, physical smackdowns and romance that never quite gets off the ground. The heroine behaves like a 12 year old boy ... oh, wait, so do most of the males in the story.
The hero is sweet, handsome and unfortunately lacking in personality.

Facts are suddenly flung at us instead of being subtly foreshadowed and then introduced as logical outcomes of the characters and plot.
I'll definitely be back to read more of MZ's work. I hope it will be better than this.

This pains me.
By Jennifer B
MZ is one of my favorite authors. I've reread every book she's ever written. I one clicked this one as she has always been a sure thing for me. Her ability to build the plot and and character relationships that result in the slow burn are what I absolutely love.

This one was different. It felt stilted at times due to a sometimes choppy storyline. It lacked the smooth flow that I've become accustomed to in her books. The subtle build that I think she was aiming for was ultimately...boring. I didn't get the attraction between the H/h. They felt flat despite the humor that was poured in copious amounts. I was actually rooting for Gaby to end up with Mason for most of the book.

It wasn't all bad. I'm a twelve year old boy at heart, so I appreciated the potty humor and laughed out loud more than once. I loved the relationship between siblings and appreciated that aspect very much. But, it just wasn't enough for me.

P.S. I want my Oxford comma!!!!

Warmth and LOL humor abound...
By nitereader
Have read all of MZ's books and could not wait to get my hands on this one. Downloaded it a few minutes after it was published on Amazon and read it in one sitting. The thing is - MZ's writing is weirdly mesmerizing. She is not, technically, a great writer, but she has a certain je ne sais quoi quality to her writing that makes it very easy for the reader to visualize everything that she writes and really care about ALL the characters. The best thing about her writing is definitely her sense of humor - laughed out loud a few times during this read. You can tell that MZ loves her family, because it comes through in her writing. When she writes about family and friends, she writes with such warmth and humor, it makes you "know" the characters inside and out. My favorite MZ book is Under Locke (a 900-page opus) and, unfortunately, all other books are overshadowed by this one. Now, a little negativity (sorry!). Her books are becoming repetitive. Characters and scenes could easily be interchanged throughout her books (have a feeling all her female main characters are essentially her). Her "slow burn" is becoming gimmicky. In this book, it seemed like she had to really try to keep the sex out until the end - a bit nonsensical. Anyhoo, still give it 4 stars, because even a mediocre MZ book, is still better than most in this category. Thanks for a sleepless night, MZ.

Life Is a Dream/La Vida es Sueño: A Dual-Language Book (Dover Dual Language Spanish), by Pedro Calderon de la Barca

The most famous of all Calderon's varied and romantic dramas, this seventeenth-century masterpiece by the great Spanish playwright explores the conflict between free will and predestination as it focuses on the life of Segismundo, a Polish prince imprisoned at birth by his father, the King. The monarch's heartless action, precipitated by astrologers who predict the boy will one day usurp the throne, paves the way for a series of events that turn the son against the father and lead to rebellion. Years later, following a revolution and the peasants' seizure of power, the grim prophecy uttered at the Prince's birth threatens to become a painful reality.
For this edition, Stanley Appelbaum has written an informative introduction and an excellent new literal translation that appears on pages facing the Spanish original. A valuable text for students of Spanish language and literature, this volume will delight any reader interested in classics from Spain's Golden Age of drama.

Great Edition of a Classic
By M. Fritz
I did not expect to like this book. However, reading Life is a Dream in the original Spanish was a delight. With the opposing translation it is even more enjoyable as the occasional unfamiliar idiom or obscure vocabulary within the text was easily cleared up. And the translation itself is solid throughout.

For those not familiar with the Spanish text, don't be discouraged; this is definitely the one of the most accessible Spanish classics. I would recommend it even to less advanced Spanish learners. (It's also short!)

This book is an excellent read and the format is easy to follow. You can compare the English and Spanish side-by-side, or read each one at a time. The story itself is one that still resonates in today's popular culture.

Luke Romyn was born in Sydney, Australia, in 1975. His life since reads like something out of his novels: heavily entrenched in personal trauma, action, thrills, and adventure.

For over two decades, Luke has worked in the security industry; from bouncing in some of Australia's roughest pubs and nightclubs to protecting Mickey Mouse and the Disney crew from the overzealous jaws of tenacious toddlers. He's been bodyguard for celebrities internationally and chased feral pigs and snakes from jungle sets on Steven Spielberg productions. Luke has traveled the globe and spent time in some of the most amazing locations the world has to offer.

This experience fuels the Australian writer's ever-expansive imagination, and he pours it into his novels, combining fact with fiction, history with fantasy, delivering engrossing action-thrillers which leave fans gasping for more. Luke's quick wit has seen his social media following explode, and he is currently one of the most prolific social media celebrities in Australia, with several hundred thousand followers across the internet.

Publishing his first book, The Dark Path, in 2009 saw it voted in the top 10 horror novels of that year, even though Luke denies ever intending the novel to be classed as horror. Luke Romyn is now one of the most popular indie authors in the ever-growing eBook market and personally completes everything from cover art to final formatting, working tirelessly with editors so as to refine the best stories possible for his readers. The results are international bestsellers you're certain to love diving into. Hundreds of thousands of readers can't be wrong.

Couldn't put it down...
By Gilbert's
I wasn't a fan of this genre until I read Luke Romyn's first book in this series-Beyond Hades. I couldn't put it down and was strangely disappointed when it ended that it was over, When I learned Mr Romyn was writing the next book, I found myself anxious and hoping it would be as good/better than the original...the wait was well worth it! When I bought it this morning, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. To me, if I can lose myself in the story, that is a great read...I won't do a spoiler, you'll just have to read it yourself, but will say well done and thank you, Mr Romyn, may you continue writing forever. -Diane Gilbert

Constant surprises
By Adina
Having read Beyond Hades, I thought I was prepared for Slaves of Valhalla. Not quite. This follow-up has the plot twists, the sometimes insane pace, and of course all of Wes's craziness that I learned to expect from his and Talbot's previous adventures. But this has even more! Right up to the final pages, the surprises are so constant that I found myself commenting out loud, "oh, that's not good," or "noooo!" or just sighing with relief. The utter unpredictability throughout the book really made the last surprise more earth-shattering. I wish I could say I saw it coming, but all I could do was shake my head and smile. And of course, start breathing again!

Have to say I'm a bit disappointed in this one...
By Kristy
I LOVED Beyond Hades so I was eagerly awaiting the next book, Slaves of Valhalla. As much as it pains me to say it, I'm a little disappointed with the sequel. Romyn still does a fantastic job of illustrating his mythical world through words and the content is as creative as ever. However, this book just didn't capture me like the first one did. I found the action a bit disjointed and it has less of an "epic" feel than Beyond Hades. The storyline, while interesting and unique, lacks a smooth flow. My biggest gripe is the change in the characterization of Wes. He was AWESOME in the first book; in the second he seems like an immature, teenage boy. Somewhere between the first book and the second, the things that made Wes endearing were overdone - now he's just annoying.

I very much appreciate Romyn's creativity and humor so I still found the book enjoyable. Unfortunately, it felt like a really good first draft rather than a finished product. Should he decide to continue with the series, I'll probably give the next book a try but I must admit I won't be eagerly awaiting it like I was the Slaves of Valhalla.

The Future of Life, by Edward O. Wilson

One of the world’s most important scientists, Edward O. Wilson is also an abundantly talented writer who has twice won the Pulitzer Prize. In this, his most personal and timely book to date, he assesses the precarious state of our environment, examining the mass extinctions occurring in our time and the natural treasures we are about to lose forever. Yet, rather than eschewing doomsday prophesies, he spells out a specific plan to save our world while there is still time. His vision is a hopeful one, as economically sound as it is environmentally necessary. Eloquent, practical and wise, this book should be read and studied by anyone concerned with the fate of the natural world.

Amazon.com Review
The eminent Harvard naturalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Wilson marshals all the prodigious powers of his intellect and imagination in this impassioned call to ensure the future of life. Opening with an imagined conversation with Henry David Thoreau at Walden Pond, he writes that he has come "to explain to you, and in reality to others and not least to myself, what has happened to the world we both have loved." Based on a love affair with the natural world that spans 70 years, Wilson combines lyrical descriptions with dire warnings and remarkable stories of flora and fauna on the edge of extinction with hard economics. How many species are we really losing? Is environmentalism truly contrary to economic development? And how can we save the planet? Wilson has penned an eloquent plea for the need for a global land ethic and offers the strategies necessary to ensure life on earth based on foresight, moral courage, and the best tools that science and technology can provide. -- Lesley Reed

From Publishers Weekly
Legendary Harvard biologist Wilson (On Human Nature; The Ants; etc.) founded sociobiology, the controversial branch of evolutionary biology, and won the Pulitzer Prize twice. This volume, his manifesto to the public at large, is a meditation on the splendor of our biosphere and the dangers we pose to it. In graceful, expressive and vigorous prose, Wilson argues that the challenge of the new century will be "to raise the poor to a decent standard of living worldwide while preserving as much of the rest of life as possible." For as America consumes and the Third World tries to keep up, we lose biological diversity at an alarming rate. But the "trajectory" of species loss depends on human choice. If current levels of consumption continue, half the planet's remaining species will be gone by mid-century. Wilson argues that the "great dilemma of environmental reasoning" stems from the conflict between environmentalism and economics, between long-term and short-term values. Conservation, he writes, is necessary for our long-term health and prosperity. Loss of biodiversity translates into economic losses to agriculture, medicine and the biotech industries. But the "bottleneck" of overpopulation and overconsumption can be safely navigated: adequate resources exist, and in the end, success or failure depends upon an ethical decision. Global conservation will succeed or fail depending on the cooperation between government, science and the private sector, and on the interplay of biology, economics and diplomacy. "A civilization able to envision God and to embark on the colonization of space," Wilson concludes, "will surely find the way to save the integrity of this planet and the magnificent life it harbors."

From Library Journal
Every day hundreds of plant, animal, or bacterial species become extinct. All this is due to the human species and its pattern of mass ecological destruction. This hardly new idea is the basic premise of The Future of Life. Unfortunately, while the book is full of heart-tugging stories about the last days of a dying species, it has few useful suggestions. For example, Hawaii is described as a mosquito-free garden of Eden before the first Polynesian settlers arrived. The arrival of man apparently turned it into a rat- and pig-infested place where even the native snails are cannibalized by foreign invaders. Although Wilson describes a few minor victories, he obviously believes that the aliens are winning; the solutions he suggests are largely political and protective. There are many charming descriptions of unusual places and species. Still, many listeners may find themselves fast-forwarding through the long outlines of organizational activities. Despite the many flaws, this combination of Wilson, a popular science author, with Ed Begley Jr., a well-known performer with a particularly mellifluous and expressive voice, should be in demand among nonfiction listeners. Recommended for moderate to large audiobook collections. I. Pour-El, Des Moines Area Community Coll., Boone, IA

Your future, your life
By Stephen A. Haines
Edward Wilson is America's, if not the world's, leading naturalist. Years of field work are applied in The Future of Life in a global tour of the world's natural resources. How are they used? What has been lost? What remains and is it sustainable with present rates of use? With broad vision, Wilson stresses our need to understand fully the biodiversity of our planet. Most importantly, that knowledge must include a realistic view of human impact on those resources. While many works of this genre sound tocsins of despair with little to offer in countering the threat of the "outbreak" of humanity on our planet, Wilson proposes a variety of realistic scenarios that may save our world and our own species. Survival will be obtained from a sound knowledge base, and the foundation for that insight starts here.
Wilson begins with an open letter to the patron saint of environment defenders, Henry David Thoreau. He offers a comparative view of today's Walden Pond with that of Thoreau's day. Wilson will use such comparisons for the remainder of the book. The issue is clear: humanity has done grave damage to its home over the millennia. The growth of human population, but more importantly, the usurpation of the biosphere for limited human purposes, threatens a world losing its ability to cope with the intrusion. Can this planet, with human help, be restored to biodiversity levels that will ensure its ongoing capacity to provide for us?
Wilson's writing skills readily match his talents as a researcher. Presenting sweeping ideas with an economy of words, he avoids vague assertions or the need for the reader to fill in information. With each stop of our global voyage in his company, he provides detailed information describing examples of human "erasure of entire ecosystems." At this pace, he informs us, we will soon require four more planets of our resource levels to sustain humanity's intended growth. In the classic tradition, he introduces a protagonist for continued economic growth debating an environmental defender. Both views can be accommodated, he assures us, but only if a population limiting bottleneck is achieved. What level of humanity can the planet endure? The numbers frighten, but the resolution, Wilson stresses, isn't inevitable.
Diversity, he argues, is the key. Even our agricultural crops can benefit. A mere hundred species are the foundation of our food supply, of which but twenty carry the load. Wilson counters this precarious situation by urging investigation of ten thousand species that could be utilized. Further, and this point will give many readers qualms, Wilson urges genetic engineering to apply desired traits between crop species. He urges these strong measures as a means of reducing the clearing of habitats to enlarge farming acreage. In conclusion, he stresses the application of ethical values in considering the environment. Each of us must make ourselves aware of our impact on our nest. If you are to survive, it may well rely on whether you read and act on the ideas in this book. Although other works on this topic are available, Wilson's stands above the others for clarity, scope and suggestions for survival. Are you, he asks, willing to add one penny to the cost of a cup of coffee to retain the world's natural reserves? It's the question confronting us all.

The Future of Life
By Darrell Davisson
I bought this book for a couple who felt that they were among a tiny minority who loved the beauty of this earth and were enraged at the criminally exploitative treatment of it. When I read the first chapter I could not put it down. This book is a must read for every sane person on the planet, a spectacularly clear and careful study of how things great and small fit together, interdepend on eachother. To disregard any part of it or abuse that living heritage, poses a threat to our very existence on the one hand and on the other, points to our interdependence. I was stunned to learn that most of the species have yet to be identified and catalogued. Wilson knows all the arguments of both extremes on environmental issues, and while he articulately addresses these with balance, reason, and knowledge that only a scientist of his calibre could do, he never looses the sense of joy and wonder over what he has discovered in his journey, nor the urgency to preserve and protect it. In the final chapter he offers realistic and visionary options for insuring a better world. This book is a masterpiece, a Virgilian guide away from the hell we are creating, the limbo we are in, and a view of the paradise we have been wontonly destroying.

Situation desperate but not completely hopeless
By L. Feld
The Future Of Life is a great book and a perfect antidote to: a) unwarranted optimism about the state of the environment, which by almost any measure appears desperate; b) unwarranted pessimism or fatalism regarding man's ability to DO something about this situation; and c) the reams of misinformation, uninformed opinion, and ridiculously wild-eyed optimism on environmental matters that exists out there (i.e., "The Skeptical Environmentalist").
Unlike The Skeptical Environmentalist, which is written by a statistician, The Future Of Life is written by one of the world's greatest living scientists, Edward O. Wilson, author of 20 books (including Sociobiology, and Consilience), winner of two Pulitzer prizes plus dozens of science prizes, and discoverer of hundreds of new species. Dr. Wilson is often called, for good reason, "the father of biodiversity." Wilson is also one of the rare breed of scientists, like Stephen J. Gould, Carl Sagan, and Stephen Hawking, who can actually communicate their thoughts and findings to the general public. This is particularly important when it comes to Wilson's area of expertise, given that the environment is something which affects all of us and which all of us can play a part in protecting (or destroying).
Wilson's main theme can be summed up as "situation desperate, but not hopeless." Why desperate? Because humans--all 6 billion of them--are the most destructive force ever unleashed on Earth. According to Wilson, humanity's "bacterial" rate of growth during the 20th century, its short-sightedness, wasteful consumption patterns, general greed and rapaciousness, ignorance, and technological power have resulted in a mass extinction: "species of plants and animals...disappearing a hundred or more times faster than before the coming of humanity," and with "as many as half...gone by the end of the century." Americans in particular are an environmental disaster, consuming so many resources (oil, meat, timber, etc.) per person that, according to Wilson's calculations, "for every person in the world to reach present U.S. levels of consumption with existing technology would require four more planet Earths." Well, we don't have four more planet Earths, and at the present time, we are well on our way to trashing the one we've got. In short, Wilson concludes after chronicling the sorry, depressing, nauseating history of man's mass slaughter and destruction of the environment, our species richly deserves the label: "Homo sapiens, serial killer of the biosphere.''
Given all this, how can I say that Wilson's book is not hopeless? First, because human population growth is slowing (finally!), as women gain education, careers, and power over their reproductive choices. Luckily, when given this choice, women increasingly have opted for "quality over quantity," and average family size has plummeted. In most advanced industrialized nations, in fact, fertility rates have now fallen below replacement level (2.1 children per woman), meaning that populations in those countries will actually start to decline (barring immigration) in coming years. Wilson points that the worldwide average number of children per woman fell from 4.3 in 1960 to 2.6 in 2000. This is still far too high, and still means years more of absolute human population growth, but it's at least a bit of hope amidst the environmental carnage and constant drumbeat of bad news.
Second, there is some hope because many humans do love the environment and want to preserve and protect it. Here, Wilson uses the fancy, scientific-sounding term "biophilia" to describe man's "innate tendency to focus upon life and lifelike forms, and in some instances to affiliate with them emotionally.'' In this instance, I believe Wilson may be overly optimistic. When confronted with the choice of a Big Mac or an acre of rainforest, let's say, most people appear to choose the Big Mac. Or when given a choice of driving their gas-guzzling SUVs and living in sprawling suburbia vs. driving smaller cars, living in cities, taking mass transit, and helping to prevent disastrous global warming, most people choose the SUVs and suburbia. Still, much of this is undoubtedly a result of ignorance and skewed economics (i.e., billions of dollars per year in government subsidies doled out to agriculture, fossil fuel production, wasteful water usage, among other things), and these can be corrected--at least in theory. Also, there are undoubtedly millions of humans who strongly care about the environment--whether for aesthetic, religious, ethical, "biophiliac," or other reasons--and are volunteering, donating money, or altering consumption patterns in order to help save it.
This brings us to the third reason for not losing all hope: humans have the ability to save the environment, and Wilson lays out a clear, realistic, step-by-step plan for doing so. Ironically, one of the very characteristics of environment which causes it to be so vulnerable --its concentration of biological diversity in a small areas ("hotspots") --means that it is possible to target that land and save it. Wilson estimates that biological "hotspots" cover "less than 2 percent of the Earth's land surface and [serve] as the exclusive home of nearly half its plant and animal species." In Wilson's calculations, those "hotspots" can be saved "by a single investment of roughly $30 billion." Just to put this in perspective, the U.S. gross domestic product is over $10 trillion, or more than thirty times the $30 billion needed to save the "hotspots."
The Future Of Life ends on a note of cautious optimism: although right now we find ourselves in a "bottleneck of overpopulation and wasteful consumption," Wilson believes that the race between "technoscientific forces that are destroying the living environment" and "those that can be harnessed to save it" can be won. In order for this to come to pass, however, humanity needs to take action immediately along the lines that Wilson lays out. Ultimately, The Future Of Life is a passionate, brilliant, clarion call to arms by a great scientist, and a great man as well. If we don't hear Wilson's call, we will have only ourselves to blame. And whichever way things turn out, we can't say we weren't warned.

Never in over 20 years have I ever read an 'erotic novel' such as this!
By Denise Bolds
I have been reading erotic novels for over 20 years and I have read them all - Zane, Mary B. Morison, Mariyln Lee, Lori Foster and all the others.... NEVER have I read such a book as this - it really needed an ADULT ONLY Warning label on the front! Pynk develed into the dark side of sex addiction that left me completely dazed and ON FIRE! I could only read this book in small incriments because I had to cool off inbetween! Sexaholics WILL have you addickted to this provocative story of three women who are addickted to sex no matter what. Get ready to be set on FIRE! Get ready to learn things you did not know about sex and get ready to be ADDICKTED!!! I know its only March 2010 - but I really don't think any other erotic story this year can top this! OMG!!!!

this is one disease I wish I had... (not really, but yeah)
By Jason Frost
I won this book in a contest by the author and I couldn't WAIT to start reading it. This is an extremely sexual book with a LOT going on. The four main characters; Valencia, Teela, Miki, and Brandi are women with the sexual appetites of a man. No, scratch that... they have the sexual appetite of a man who has been imprisoned on a desert isle for eight years, while being fed a diet of Viagra, Levitra and oysters, being forced to watch (while handcuffed) Ebony Ayes and Ron Jeremy.

The title of this book is the perfect one for this story because it is a perfect definition of these women. Reading about the lives of these four women is very voyeuristic and sexual. Unfortunately, all of the sex they experience is not the "good" kind. A lot of it is painful, risky, dangerous, mindless, and self-induced. I think the author was trying to do two things: 1. I think she was trying to tell a story, and 2. I think she was trying to show us how real and devastating sexual addiction can be. The only problem with trying to do both in a fictional story was that; when she started talking about the `serious' part of the story, it really slowed down.

It was kind of like I was in a Sex-Ed class taught by a naked Gabrielle Union and then right before she demonstrates how she gives herself an orgasm, in walks a very old and very wrinkled Lynn Hamilton (Donna from `Sanford & Son') to take over the class. I get what Pynk was trying to do, but I found myself speed-reading through these parts because I didn't want to hear all that.

Everyone one of the main characters has a sexual monkey on their back and while its fun to read about their exploits, you do feel sorry for them once you really get into the story. The saying goes "Everything that glitters aint always gold". Well having a girlfriend who can't get enough may not be all that it's cracked up to be either. I know... hard to believe :-) but read this book and you'll see what I'm talking about. Pynk doesn't hold back on the drama or the sex. You'll get a healthy dose of both, right in your face so be prepared. If you haven't read anything by Pynk, `Sexaholics' just might just make you a `Pynkaholic'.

deep look at how crippling addiction can be
By A Customer
Miki Summers is a sexaholic who loves the heat with anonymous pursuers until her out of control sexcapades catch up to her. Valencia Sanchez is bisexual hitting on both sexes in spite of being engaged to an affluent fianc who tells her monogamy with him only or goodbye. Voyeur Teela Raye loves seeing others go at it and then doing it with her mate, but a peeping Thomasina may not be enough satisfaction especially since her mate is not interested in her passivity as a watcher. School teacher Brandi Williams is a one night special hitting different hunks every evening, but soon craves doing it in daylight too.

These four women are sex addicts who meet at Sexaholics Anonymous meetings. There each tells their tale staying in control one minute at a time as their libido keeps whispering feed me.

The four key characters rotate perspective so that the audience obtains a deep look at how crippling addiction can be. Each knows the danger their sexual need causes yet they cannot control their libido's indulgences. Well written, Sexaholics is an entertaining erotica that focuses on the destructiveness of being out of control when 24/7 your vagina controls your brain.
